Rahaf Al Bochi

Registered Dietitian

Hi, I’m Rahaf!

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Diabetes Educator and own Olive Tree Nutrition, which is my private practice and blog. It is inspired by my Mediterranean Middle Eastern roots and the Mediterranean Eating Pattern.

When I’m not working I love spending time with my husband and baby girl exploring nature walks and delicious local food.

My Story

It was my journey to motherhood that ignited my passion for fertility and pregnancy nutrition. I experienced firsthand the ropes of fertility and OB clinics, and the simple words of “just take a prenatal vitamin” and “just relax”.

But nutrition plays an integral part  of a woman’s fertility and pregnancy journey. It can literally optimize a couple’s egg and sperm quality, and it can affect a baby’s growth and risk for chronic diseases later in life!

In 2020 my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl that has filled my heart with joy and gratitude, and ignited my passion to help more mamas on their fertility and pregnancy journey.

My Coaching Philosophy

My Mediterranean upbringing has taught me that food is meant to be enjoyed. Unfortunately in today’s diet culture the words food joy have been replaced with food guilt and shame. But your reproductive health starts with a healthy relationship with food and your body. I don’t believe in fad diets and encourage you to eat real foods to nourish your body.

I take a holistic approach with clients, because health is more than nutrition- it encompasses listening to your body, gentle movement, sleep quality, gut health, mental health and emotional health. The Mediterranean lifestyle encompasses all these and I love helping women discover this eating pattern. I also practice from a weight neutral lens, because your health is not defined by your weight.

I value empowering you with the tools and knowledge to help you make informed decisions and give you the confidence you need to grow a healthy family.

Why Olive Tree Nutrition?

Olive Tree Nutrition is inspired by the Mediterranean diet and eating pattern. Growing up in a Middle Eastern household there was no shortage of olives and olive oil. Our main meals centered around vegetables. Over and over again the Mediterranean diet has been associated with many health benefits. This eating pattern also focuses on social connectedness and enjoying food, which is a component of my mindful eating coaching philosophy.
